1. What ReSnap is

ReSnap (resnap.in) is a free online listing board where verified media professionals list pre-owned photo, video, audio and editing gear. ReSnap is an “intermediary” under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Buyers and sellers deal directly with each other, on Instagram or in person. ReSnap is only a listing platform. ReSnap is not a party to any sale, does not take payments, does not hold money, does not inspect, store or ship any item, and does not give any warranty or guarantee about any item, buyer or seller.

2. Who can use ReSnap

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a contract under Indian law.
  • Sellers must log in with their own Instagram professional (Creator or Business) account and pass our media-professional check. We may remove the “Verified media pro” badge at any time.
  • Buyers log in with Instagram or Google and give their own Instagram username.

3. Listings

  • You may only list gear that you own and have the right to sell. Describe it honestly: condition, faults, usage, bill and warranty.
  • Do not list anything on the prohibited items list.
  • Do not put phone numbers, emails, links or payment details in listings.
  • Every listing and every edit is reviewed by a person before it is shown. An AI assistant may help write a draft; you are responsible for checking it.
  • Listings expire after 60 days. You can renew them.
  • We may edit for format, refuse, hide or remove any listing, and suspend any account, for example after a report.

4. Dealing with other users

All talks, prices, payments, delivery and returns are between buyer and seller only. Meet in a safe public place, test the item, check the bill and serial number, and avoid advance payments. ReSnap is not responsible for any loss arising from a deal between users. Read Buying safely.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of your photos and text. You give ReSnap a free, non-exclusive licence to host, resize and show them on ReSnap and in links to ReSnap (for example search engines and social previews) while the listing exists.

6. Things you must not do

  • Post false, misleading, stolen, infringing, obscene, defamatory or unlawful content, or anything listed in Rule 3(1)(b) of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
  • Impersonate another person, scrape the site, send spam, or try to break or overload the service.
  • Use ReSnap to collect other users' data or to send them unwanted messages.

7. Reports and complaints

Use the “Report this listing” button, or write to our Grievance Officer.

8. Liability

ReSnap is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, ReSnap and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything a user does, says, sells or buys.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will show the new date above. Indian law applies. Courts at Kochi, Kerala have jurisdiction.
